This app provides users with tools to effectively manage their intake of carbohydrates, saturated fats, fiber, protein, and calories. Such management can be crucial in preventing or addressing conditions like obesity, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, high LDL cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, certain cancers, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, neurodegenerative diseases (including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's), and mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, autism, and schizophrenia.

Users can establish personalized daily targets for calories, carbohydrates, saturated fats, fiber, and protein based on recommendations within the app and their dietary preferences regarding food measurements (grams or ounces). Nutrient content can be displayed in various formats, including percentage of target per serving or absolute values per 100 grams or 1 ounce. Flexibility is built into the system, allowing users to adjust these goals at any time based on their own needs or healthcare provider advice.

The app facilitates effortless food and beverage tracking through a variety of methods such as barcode scanning, voice dictation, search functionality, and the ability to favorite frequently consumed items. The serving sizes provided are also adjustable. Users are encouraged to take notes as needed via a dedicated notepad feature.

To enhance user experience and adherence to dietary goals, the app monitors both daily consumption and long-term progress. Users have the option to export their data for sharing with healthcare professionals and can synchronize information across other nutrient counter applications by First Line Medical Communications Ltd., as well as connect their data with Apple’s HealthKit.

An additional benefit includes the capacity to add custom foods and recipes, further personalizing the app's extensive food database. The app also delivers nutritional information for numerous healthy foods while promoting a diet conducive to a healthy gut microbiome. This is illustrated through color-coded text and icons in food pop-ups:

 <li>Green Text with Green Leaf Icon: Represents plant-based foods recommended for inclusion among the 30 different types of plants suggested weekly by health experts. Darker green text denotes the most beneficial prebiotic plants.</li>
 <li>Gold Text with Gold Microbe Icon: Indicates fermented foods rich in probiotics that contribute positively to gut health.</li>
 <li>Red Text with Red Warning Triangle: Identifies ultra-processed foods (UPFs) that contain ingredients typically not found in home kitchens and may negatively impact the gut microbiome. These foods are associated with various health risks including obesity and inflammation-related diseases.</li>
 <li>Black Text: Denotes foods that do not fall under the previous categories but remain healthy when consumed within a balanced diet.</li>
